Our Mission

Building Africa’s Economic Capability
About Us: Venum School of Applied Technology (VSAT)

The VSAT Identity: A Living Laboratory

VSAT is much more than a learning institution; it is a Living Laboratory. We reject the traditional classroom model in favor of an open innovation ecosystem where theory is continuously tested against market realities.

Epistemic Integrity: We believe knowledge is only true if it works in practice. Every lesson must pass the test of field application.

The 4P Model: Through Public-Private-People-Partnerships, we co-create solutions with industry firms and communities to ensure our research translates into immediate socioeconomic impact.

Industrialized Education: Our curriculum is mapped directly to Zimbabwe’s 14 National Priority Areas (NDS1) and the AfCFTA’s priority service sectors, ensuring our training supports national and continental development goals.

The Core Engine: The 1:1 Business Rule

The proprietary engine of VSAT is the 1:1 Business Rule. For every hour of technical instruction (The "How-To"), our students receive one hour of business model integration (The "How-to-Monetize"). This ensures that every graduate departs not just with a transcript, but with a Business Pilot Plan and a portfolio of validated projects.

Become a Lecturer or a Mentor?

The Difference: A lecturer transfers theory. A Practitioner-Mentor models real-world problem-solving, coaches through industry practicums, and bridges learners to market opportunities.
